2nd "first" blog

Alright, after starting one of these and then totally deleting the entire account and starting all over from scratch, here we are again. So this is my second "first" blog. So it will be really short. We are in the application process with MMS Aviation (Missionary Maintenance Services Aviation) to be a apprentice aircraft maintenance specialist. I'll have more on this later. But they are a very cool Christian org. that take mechanical mission focused guys like me and they have them work on real mission aircraft coming going all over the world and after 30 months of service as an apprentice I'll be able to take my FAA Airframe and Power-plant tests and be a certified airplane mechanic. Apprentices work alongside certified mechanics and the certified mechanic checks over all the work and has to literally sign off on the work being done. After that Cayton and I will hopefully and prayerfully be able to serve at MFI (www.missionaryflights.org) in Florida as Christian missionaries. Here are a few pictures from our recent trip out to MFI. We were greatly encouraged by this trip and long to be back serving with MFI as full time missionary staff. I hope you enjoy the picts.

Jake
